DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION

A non-refundable 50% deposit payment is required to secure the date of the mehndi. Dates are available on a first come first serve basis. A booking date is not secured until the agreed non-refundable 50% deposit payment has been made.

Deposit payments are payable via bank transfer currently. Bank details for deposit and final payments are available on the Deposit Invoice.

Deposit payments are non-refundable, however, if Gurpreet is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to; accident, injury, Government guidelines or restrictions imposed, the deposit can be transferred to secure a new date. Should Gurpreet be unavailable on the new date, the deposit may be refunded.

Should any other unfortunate events occur, refunds will be issued at the discretion of Gurpreet.

Any deposit payments made to Apni Mehndi shall be deemed as acceptance of these terms and condition.
FINAL PAYMENTS

Final balance must be cleared on or before the end of your event.

Final balances are payable via Bank Transfer, Contactless Card Payment, or Cash.

Parking costs, if charged, are to be included in the final balance payment. Parking permits to be considered, and parking restrictions to be informed in advance when providing the mehndi venue address to Gurpreet.

Should any changes need to be made to the mehndi booking, prices will be discussed before bridal application and before continuing Party Mehndi.
PARENTAL CONSENT

For those under the age of 16, Gurpreet will require a consent form signed by a parent/ guardian, which will be provided on the day of the event. Please see clause 4.2 regarding mehndi application to children under 5.

APPLICATION

Only Natural Mehndi paste to be used. Mehndi Paste ingredients: 100% Organic Mehndi Powder, Water, Lemon Juice, Sugar, Essential Oils (Lavender, Eucalyptus & Cajeput)

Mehndi paste for Pregnant women and Children under 5, will contain lavender essential oil ONLY – Please ensure Gurpreet is informed minimum 3 weeks before your event to request Lavender Mehndi paste and to ensure it is in stock. If Lavender Mehndi paste is not in stock, mehndi will not be applied to Pregnant women and Children under 5 attending your event.

Any known allergies should be informed and discussed prior to the event. For any known citrus allergies, mehndi paste can be specially requested to be mixed without lemon juice – to be requested minimum 3 weeks before your event. Mehndi/ Henna is NOT suitable for those who suffer from G6PD Deficiency. Please contact Gurpreet if you have any concerns.

A small portable table will be brought along for mehndi application. Kindly allocate some space for this along with two chairs, ready for arrival time. A swinging bench or floor seating is not suitable for application. Please consider this when decorating and allocating a ‘mehndi area’! Please do let Gurpreet know if you have any questions.

Ample lighting is required. Kindly ensure that lights are not turned off mid mehndi with DJ strobe lighting in the same room as Gurpreet is unable to continue mehndi application. Any interruption time will still be charged as per the hourly rate agreed.

Bridal mehndi can require 5+ hours application time. All clients are required to sit as still as possible to ensure neat mehndi application. Avoidable interruptions causing mehndi to be wiped and reapplied will incur additional charges. Re-application is not ideal as the mehndi paste stains in seconds. Please ensure there are minimal disturbances during application process.

Should Gurpreet experience any abusive language, is threatened with any physical violence, or have her health & safety threatened or jeopardised in any way, the booking will not be carried out/ continued. Should any such incident occur, a refund of any payment will not be entitled to the client.
